1. Types of warm foods.


(1). Spicy, fragrant, and stimulating vegetables: garlic, chives, ginger, green onions, etc.

(2). Vegetables growing on the ground: potatoes, carrots, spinach, burdock, pumpkin, etc.

(3). Fruits: dermis (dried tangerine skin), jujube, plum, peach, apple, apricot, citron, ginkgo, walnut, etc.

(4). Grain: Potatoes, sorghum, millet, glutinous rice, black beans, brown rice,

(6). Seafood including fish: dried yellow corvina, crucian carp, eel, carp, yellow corvina, abalone, shrimp, sea cucumber, etc.

What about warm food?
If winter continues, it is better to eat warm type food to cheer up your body and overcome the cold. It is spicy or fragrant and stimulating. Spicy ingredients such as garlic, chives, ginger, and green onions warm your body by facilitating blood circulation. In particular, ginger is said to be a representative vegetable for overcoming the cold because it has a thermal nature, and it is also useful in removing the cold in the five intestines from Donguibogam(Korean historic oriental medical textbook).  
In particular, finding and eating warm vegetables and fruits that are good for health is very good for preventing the coldness of the body and reviving your appetite. Vegetables grown on land such as potatoes, carrots, spinach, burdock, and pumpkins receive the energy of the earth full of energy, and vegetables growing on the ground have a warm energy.  Sweet potatoes, potatoes, and pumpkins are good for people with cold hands and feet and develop resistance to colds. Seasonings and spices mainly have hot energy. Sesame oil, soybean paste, salt, ginger, garlic, peppers, chives, and pepper are warm foods. For those who catch a cold or get cold easily,  this is why I drink a lot of jujube tea or citron tea.



🔊 Tangerines are marked with both warm and cold type food, which is more abundant in tangerines, that is, the nomilin ingredients that cover the skin with a protective film. This is because the content is much higher when tangerines are heated by heat than when eat raw. In addition, the rough dietary fiber molecules of tangerines are split into small pieces by heat, increasing the digestion absorption rate. The cold nature of tangerines changes to warm nature and activates metabolism, helping prevent colds in winter.


 

2. Types of cold foods.



(1). Vegetables: Tomato, water parsley, cabbage, cabbage, cucumber, etc.

(2). Fruits: Persimmons, tangerines, strawberries, bananas, pears, watermelons, melons, grapes, etc. Fruits usually have a cold property.

Most fruits and vegetables have cold properties, but the colder the fruit is, the worse it is.

(3). Grain: Sweet potatoes, mung beans, buckwheat, flour, barley red beans.

(4). Meat: Pork and duck meat.

(5). Fish, seafood: Crab, octopus, squid, snail, shellfish,
Herring, etc.

(6). Seasoning and spices: Vinegar, sugar cane, and brown sugar are cold foods.

This classification is generally based on the effect of the food on the body. Since each person has a different constitution, the action may be slightly different.  In winter, they eat strong hot type foods that can overcome the cold to protect themselves. Most of the foods that can be obtained from mountains and fields in autumn and winter are hot type foods. If you eat too many vegetables, which are cold type foods, in winter, your body will get colder.

Therefore, when drinking vegetable juice, it is recommended to add a little bit of salt which is a warm type. Small fruits or dried fruits are hot type foods, but apples, pears, bananas, and kiwis belong to cold type foods. If you like fruit very much and have a very cold constitution, it is better to try something different when eating fruit in winter. 
It is dipping it in sesame salt and eat it. If you actually do it, it's less wired than your thought.
